WHAT IT IS:  A dramatic showstopper 

DESIGNER NOTE: I called the necklace Zelda, in honor of Zelda Fitzgerald. The inspiration was the Roaring Twenties, and Zelda was a social and cultural icon of the time. She was known for her rebellious attitude and great sense of fashion and that's the look I adopted with this necklace. I imagined she could have sported a necklace like this during a social event, while wearing a beautifully embroidered dress and sipping champagne..
