That was a brooch by the artist when I was 23 years old. I couldn’t afford it but it was so cool and I couldn’t pass it.

Where do you look for inspiration when designing pieces?

It always comes when I feel appreciated. I don’t look for it. Visiting some places, watching the shows , having a cultural experience etc,,,

What’s your favorite type of material to wear/work with?

Silver and gold. I sometime use pearls, sand and wood.

How would you describe your personal style?

Mix of Japanese and kiwi. Cultural influenced.

Nature and coulture.

What’s the most special piece of jewelry you own? What’s the story behind it?

My dad gave it to me when I left Japan age of 22. That was his platinum ring ring. He said I can sell it when I need money….But I still wear it and he passed 3 years ago.

No need to worry or look at someone’s work or style. You can listen the nature and feel. Being myself.
