Lindsay wearing the Fortis Charm In Lapis
When creating my pendants for Story, the first place I went for inspiration was my own treasure box at home. I knew that I wanted each pendant to have purpose and meaning. I wanted to share a bit of my Story with you.
One of the first things that caught my eye was my Dad’s beautiful old war medals. I miss him so very much, especially this time of year as Father’s Day comes and goes. We had a really special bond. He was a hero and the most incredible person.
Lindsay and her Dad share a sweet moment
My Dad faced every single day with a strength that I aspire to. It was more than just being brave. It was an inner strength fortified by his complete trust that things would work out because he knew there was something loving guiding him every step of the way.
He was a hero, but for me it was not only because of medals he was awarded in fighting for our country, it was because of his inner strength and faith.
He was a hero...because of his inner strength and faith.

The Fortis and Ellipse Charms
Fortis available in 14k Gold and Gold Vermeil
Fortis means "brave" and "strong" in Latin. This new pendant is meant for everyone who needs a daily reminder that the strength they carry is always with them and comes from within. It’s a reminder of their courage, hope and tenacity to fight all their battles both big and small.
We are all fighters and we deserve our own medals.
Fortis and the Malachite Heart worn on a Jenna Blake Diamond Charm Necklace

I chose this beautiful lapis as the center stone. Lapis Lazuli encourages self-awareness and taking charge of your own life. It helps us express ourselves safely and in an empowering way, without holding back. It brings the qualities of honesty, compassion, and integrity to the wearer. That was my Dad in a nutshell.

I hope you love Fortis. I wear mine as a daily reminder of courage, hope and tenacity, to fight all battles big and small. But also to remind me, that just like my Dad, I’ve had the strength inside me all along.
